Gard Headquarters

Much like the ship of Theseus challenges our understanding of identity over time, Gard’s new headquarters builds on a legacy spanning over a century—constantly renewed, yet true to its origin. Inspired by Greek philosophy and Nordic maritime heritage, the building is a contemporary interpretation of a safe harbor: a place where tradition meets innovation. Constructed in wood with low emissions and the use of natural materials, it merges sustainable solutions with warm, functional spaces. Placed between mountain and sea, it forms a natural anchor point—a site-specific workplace where people, ideas, and stories are given space to grow. Theseus’ harbor, in a new form.
