Off grid cabin

cabin with massive timber interior and concrete fireplace

Nestled in the mountains, this 65 m² off-grid cabin is designed for simplicity and breathtaking views. With a minimalist aesthetic and no trim, it offers a pure and uncluttered retreat. Built by the Valone Thorsen family, the cabin operates entirely without electricity, water, or sewage—yet remains comfortable thanks to sustainable solutions like solar panels for power, a wood stove for heating, and gas for hot water.

Oslotre played a key role in bringing this vision to life, ensuring a sustainable construction and assembly process that aligns with the family’s values.
