Placed by the sea in Henningsvær, Lofoten, the Pizza Lodge is a small yet thoughtful modular structure built entirely from reclaimed materials. The project repurposes window cutouts from large massive timber elements originally used in a major student housing project. Instead of being discarded, these high-quality wood pieces found a new life in this cozy, purpose-driven design.
Designed by Oslotre for Trevarefabrikken, the Pizza Lodge is shaped by the materials available, creating a compact yet functional space for a stone oven and a working area. The result is an efficient, sustainable construction that blends seamlessly with its surroundings.
Located next to the sauna, this new gathering point enhances the vibrant atmosphere of Trevarefabrikken, offering a warm, inviting space for both locals and visitors to enjoy fresh, wood-fired pizza by the sea.
